saw the pictures chris christie and president obama toured the storm-ravaged coast of new jersey yesterday. christie knows who was there to help when new jersey needed it. so now the big question is christie going to stay with the man he had previously endorsed or will he throw his substantial weight behind president obama? don't hold your breath. okay. we'll get into that and a whole lot more here on the "full court press." first, here she is with a current news update today lisa ferguson out in los angeles. good morning. >> hey bill. good morning everyone. campaign schedules are getting back on track today as romney heads to virginia and president obama has a very busy day ahead of him. first, he starts off the day in green bay, wisconsin for a rescheduled event that he had to cancel tuesday to deal with hurricane sandy. then he is off to nevada, colorado and ohio. yesterday, obama toured the aftermath of hurricane sandy in new jersey along with governor chris christie who had nothing but kind words for t

with governor chris christie today. while super storm sandy continues on its path of destruction the area northeast of pittsburgh is the latest to get hit. leaving close to milli pennsylvania residents without power. joining me on the phone in a fox business exclusive is pennsylvania governor. governor, thanks for coming on. i know you're spending the day in philadelphia and looking at power lines and talking to power line workers. what did you see there? >> we're in philadelphia up in northern bucks county talking to people at a shelter. we've seen a lot of areas without electricity. i've gone out to see some crews working on replacing the electricity. these are crews that came in from as far away as mississippi who came up here to help. there are a couple thousand people working on the lines in pennsylvania. i think our number now is down around 800,000 that were without electricity at this point. melissa: yeah. so how long do you think it will be before you can get power back tothose customers? everybody who is sitting in a dark house right now who doesn't have hot water is wondering h
in many ways of governor christie in new jersey, sort of metaphorically putting his arm around the president, telling him what a great president he was. last thing you would have expected say two weeks ago. what did you make of that? >> i thought it was a fair appraisal. look, governor christie and new jersey has a real problem. jersey shore devastated, plus all the electric outages and problems throughout a large part of the state. of course governor christie needs help. this is what happens when governors need help, they come to washington. and americans expect washington to help. there is a role for the commander in chief, for the president of the united states, when disaster strikes at home. that's what americans expect of their leader. >> were you pleased that the marathon was canceled? >> yeah. i think it was a smart move. i do. it's been -- new yorkers have been really terrific about this. people downtown in manhattan have been four days without light or power. the streets are dark. it's like sarajevo during the siege in the balkans and the thought of more people coming
